Seller just replaced front hatch, and added new matresses in berths. Also fixed some other areas that needed attention. The boat is in decent shap. This cruising sailor has been well maintained. She last received bottom paint in August of 2021. Being in the northwest, she's only a summer sailer so think of her as used like a 20-year-old boat, definitely not looking her age. Stock #350476 Clean Condition! Great Cruising Boat! Recently Updated and Well Maintained! Ready for Your Next Summer Sailing Adventure! With a PHRF 84 rating, the Johnstone design concept and Tillotson Pearson build of the J/36 is like J/Boat's other successful racer/cruisers. Low freeboard and wide decks make this "J" a great cruising boat. The large mainsail invites comfortable, easy, powerful cruising under the mainsail alone. With a compact galley and enclosed head, the large main saloon with teak interior provides significant volume from an 11.76' beam and 6' 1" headroom. Shrouds are rod rigging with forestay head-foil, covers for both mainsail and wheel, winches cleaned and greased, and nearly new settee cushions. Recently installed V-berth and stern berths with storage space. Mainsail lazy jacks and 12 bags of sails-Carbon, Kevlar, Dacron sets, encourage the perfect sail combination for wind conditions. Yanmar 3GMD 20 HP diesel. Electronics include Garmin chartplotter, Simrad auto helm, depth sounder, VHF, 30 amp shore power. Large leather-wrapped wheel. 2021 three newer batteries, starter, polycarbonate windows, and 8/2021 bottom paint, bi-annual zincs. Additional equipment included: Force 10 stove, Webasto diesel heater, Danforth anchor and ground tackle. The interior accommodations sleep 6 plus 2 optional pipe berths. J/36 boats are easily sailed, offer a very large interior volume, and you just might beat the weather into your destination port. Reason for selling is has too many boats.
