1934 Atkins 34
The Atkins 34 designed by Wm. Atkin & George Wayland was built in San Francisco by Andersen & Stephani. It is known as a Marconi- rigged cutter. The hull of Alaskan Yellow Cedar planks was refastened from the waterline down in 2012 with galvanized steel fasteners. The deck is constructed of 3/4" marine ply with epoxy & fiberglass cloth. Frames are of solid oak. The 35hp Universal Diesel installed in 2012 has only 25HRS ! This boat boasts a full inventory of sails, marine head in v-berth, port & starboard settee-seating, plus fresh bottom paint in April of 2015.
