The Seafarer is available in an outboard model, the 226 Seafarer, and in a Grady-Drive (outboard bracket) version, the 228 Grady Drive. The 226 features a fold-down motor well bulkhead, and the 228 features a bait rigging area and large insulated box livewell in the aft cockpit. The Seafarer offers a spacious 49-square foot cockpit. Roomy shelves are to the port and starboard of the helm and include convenient fire extinguisher storage. Rounded edges all around the boat, and improved ergonomics at the helm, mean more comfort. 1991 Grady White 22’, 2005 Yamaha 225hp with 458 hours and 260 of those hours under 2,000 RPM, compression 181-190 PSI all cylinders, 2015 Yamaha full remote High Thrust 9.9, power tilt, electric start, electric hydraulic lift bracket, compression 195 and 205PSI. Both engines just had oil, filter, lower oil, fuel filters. Includes trim tabs, Penn electric downriggers, Garmin GPS/fishfinder, VHF radio, Furuno Radar, Long tandem axle roller trailer. This is an older boat but appears to be structurally still in good shape and motors checked out great. Current owner has had boat since 1994.

The listing broker was very impressed with the condition of this vessel for it being a 1998. The hull was in very good condition. Bottom paint was all recently touched up and looks to be in good condition. The seller reports the boat is running great and ready for the next owner. The seller has service records that go back to the previous owners as well. This vessel is powered by a 1998 Yamaha 2 Stroke OX66 model engine. Grady White comes with years of quality and are known for their ability for a stable ride. This 228 Seafarer can check a lot of boxes for the avid fisherman, the family that wants to enjoy the water, or even the owner that wants to take sunset cruises. This vessel has the forward cuddy with v-berth, small freshwater sink, and porta-potty. Perfect for taking a nap, avoiding nasty weather, or using the restroom when out on the water all day. There is plenty o room for 4 adults to fish from the rear deck and stern. This area also allows for that record catch to be hauled in. The rear deck can also fit four deck chairs when wanting to cruise the waterways, when running off-shore this space can also fit marine bean bags to soften the ride. Nice size swim platform as well. Although this is 3rd owner vessel, the current owner has all the original books and also a folder full of the service history. Reference the trailer the current owner had completely re-built by a very reputable trailer company in Charleston in 2018. The seller also in 2021 had the trim motor replaced, the complete switch panel and wiring redone. (shown in pictures) Recently added Lowrance unit and marine radio onboard. The Yamaha gauge shows around 203 hours, the seller believes that was somehow reset prior to him purchasing, unknown total hours on the engine. When this boat was ordered, several of the additional features were also added to the vessel, a huge feature with this listing, having the auxiliary fuel tank, total capacity is 148 gallons, (92/56) two tanks. This Grady-White has been kept in a garage and well taken care of. It has a 2017 Evinrude 175 HP engine with 65 hours on her. The initial service was performed at 64 hours. Service receipt and warranty information are available on request. Per the seller, all systems are functioning properly. The trailer needs the brakes repaired or replaced. 2001 Grady-White 226 Seafarer 2001 Grady White 226 Seafarer 1 owner boat in excellent condition with tons of recent maintenance and upgrades completed. This boat was purchased new by my uncle in 2001 and lift kept in Florida with no bottom paint etc. until this season. He recently passed away and I brought the boat up to NJ to get it ready to sell and painted the bottom so we could keep it in the water and use it in the meantime. The boat has very low hours as it was kept at his vacation home and only used a few weeks each year. Clear title is in hand. Recent upgrades include and brand new 91 gallon fuel tank, all new fuel lines, high pressure fuel pump, filters, new bilge pump, 2 new batteries, new O2 sensors, new water pump. In addition to these parts, the entire fuel system (injectors etc.) was removed from the engine and cleaned. Boat has the Yamaha OX66 Saltwater Series II, 225 HP outboard. Other options on the boat include: head, GPS, fish finder, Bluetooth stereo, VHF radio, saltwater and freshwater wash down systems, live baitwell, trim tabs, full covers for helm and cockpit areas, fiberglass hardtop, windlass anchor setup, swim ladder, and stainless bow rows. When I brought the boat to NJ, I took it directly to the marina and had them go over every system on the boat. No expense was spared getting the boat ready to use. I have all service records and receipts for the work mentioned above. It was all completed in the last 2 months of the 2016 season. Lastly, I purchased a 2010 Sea Lion trailer for the boat in October. Trailer is in very good condition and has new LED lights installed. Please feel free to call with any questions. I took the boat out of the water in October and it has been stored in a heated warehouse (on the trailer) in Ivyland, PA. The boat is available to be seen by serious buyers any time.
