1973 Hatteras Sport Fish The 53' Hatteras Convertible is one of the famed builder’s most successful hulls. A proven tournament winner ready for cruising, diving or blue water action “Miss Fit” is a classic Hatteras upgraded and customized by her experienced owner. Repowered with CAT 3406’s in 2012 the refit also included replacing every bulkhead, rebuilding the engine room stringers, adding a mezzanine, new bridge with custom console, new windows and electronics. Running gear service in 2015 included balanced and reconditioned props and shafts and fresh bottom paint. The following year (2016) Miss Fit received a new paint job on hull and topsides. General details of Route 66 This is a classic 34' Hatteras Sportfish that has been remodeled with interior Teak, Cypress, tile, custom Route 66 cushions, flat screen TV, leather furniture, new paint, patina wood accents, stainless steal kitchen appliances, led lighting, window shades, 2 A/C units, window tinting, etc. etc.. The exterior has been remodeled with Teak and Cypress to keep the classic look and feel. The boat was hauled for complete engine tune ups, which included replacement of spark plugs, re-machining all top end cylinders on both engines, water pumps, fuel pumps, batteries, valve adjustments, oil change, oil filters, fuel filters, new starters, new cables, new distributor, and basically anything that needed updating or replacement. ** I've done a ton of work to the boat, but just don't have the time to finish up the "to-do-list", which is to install (2) radios (wires are already run), (2) mechanical fuel tank gauges along with the helm gauges that are already installed and just need to be wired.
