Update 2022 - Cabin varnished inside and out and teak oil reapplied to the deck. New Teak Deck in 2014 ($23,000.) Engines Rebuilt in 4/2011. (per the seller) Newer fuel tanks. 4 new batteries and new battery charger. Newer custom canvas covers ($10,000.) in excellent condition. The seller has a three-ring binder that includes the original build spec sheet, and details of everything that has been done to the boat over the last 50 years. All information related to condition and operations of systems has been supplied by the seller. Seller reports all systems are functional and the boat has been very well maintained since being rebuilt. Newer engines were installed around 2015 during the rebuild. Refrigerator and original toilet have been removed from the head. We highly recommend a professional inspection before making a final purchase decision. Stock #283791 1969 Customized Lyman Sportsman with Flybridge, Custom converted to a Sportsman model This Lyman is located in Marblehead, OH and has been very well maintained and upgraded. It was originally built as an Islander model by Lyman but has been converted to the Sportsman layout by the current seller. The engines are not original and were replaced with Crusaders around 2015. Trim tabs have been added to help with weight redistribution when cruising, allowing the boat to not lean to one side or the other. The cockpit floor is made of African Leopard Wood, cushions are in good condition and show very little wear, (4) NAPA Marine batteries were replaced in 2016. The refrigerator and toilet has been removed. A porta potti is now in the head as a replacement. She will cruise 20-25mph and hit a top speed of 40mph on flat water. 1972 Lyman 24 Biscayne 1972 24' Lyman 24 Biscayne (fiberglass model, not wood) Chrysler 200 hp direct drive inboard. Fresh water enjoyed. Only 1168 original hours! A very simple and inexpensive way to get on the water to fish, cruise or just enjoy the day. She comes with a convertible top with side curtains, a full camper back with screens and ising glass. A teak platform, a spacious full rear bench seat with storage underneath, a tilt back engine cover with cushion, 2 forward cockpit chairs, compass, VHF radio, trim tabs, Interphase fish finder, 2 batteries and safety switch, fresh bottom paint in 2016 and a tandam axle storage trailer. it has sleeping capacity for 2 in the V- berth area but is primarily used to store gear.She has been well cared for being the age she is and always stored inside our heated facility in the off season. Classic wooden 26' 1970 Lyman Cruisette. 260 horsepower, V-8 Crusader Challenger. Nice little cabin and kitchenette. Pretty teak wood decks. Beautiful engine that has been meticulously cared for and professionally serviced. All seals redone on the engine 2009($5000). Gas tank drained and cleaned for varnish and other debris 2011 ($600). New canvas mooring cover in 2011 ($4000). New bilge pump, gas filters and carburetor. Oil changed at every winterization. You could run the boat as is, or you could do many things to it, depending on your taste. I always liked keeping everything original. The cushions are in decent shape, a few snaps are not working. The linoleum floor is in good shape, and the little kitchenette is all original, complete with a sink, cabinet storage and ice box. The boat has enjoyed it's last 45 years on Lake Erie. It loves the waves and cuts through them like no other boat I've seen. This boat is located in Marblehead, OH and can be picked up at Channel Grove Marina. The boat does not include a trailer.
