CHRIS CRAFT CAVALIER, 1960 - I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS CLASSIC ANTIQUE IS EASILY WORTH $24,000. MAKE AN OFFER, I WANT IT TO HAVE A NEW OWNER WHO CAN ENJOY IT NOW! CHRIS CRAFT CAVALIER 18 FOOT UTILITY , MAHOGANY (PLYWOOD). CC MADE PT BOATS IN WWII SO THEY KNEW HOW TO MAKE A REALLY GREAT PLYWOOD BOAT. HAVE BOAT ON A TRAILER AND IT GOES IN THE WATER WITH NO LEAKS JUST LIKE A FIBERGLASS BOAT. RESTORED 12 YEARS AGO. NEW UPHOLSTERY ($1500), ORIGINAL 283 ENGINE REPLACED WITH A FRESH 327($2500). IT WOULD DO ABOUT 35 MPH WITH THE 185 HP ENGINE, THE 327 WAS REBUILT TO PUT OUT OVER 250HP, LOTS OF EXTRA PARTS INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL 283 ENGINE, FOUR PROPS, DRIVE SHAFTS, SET OF MANIFOLDS +++. INCLUDES A NEWER TRAILER ($1700) WITH NEW TIRES. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BOAT THAT IS A REAL HEAD TURNER. HAS NOT BEEN IN THE WATER SINCE 2007. NAME OF THE BOAT IS "AFTERNOON DELIGHT" AND I NEVER HAD THE HEART TO CHANGE IT. DO NOT HAVE TIME TO USE - THIS IS A FWC BOAT THAT IS BEST IN A LAKE AND FOR ME THAT IS ALMOST A FOUR HOUR DRIVE. NEEDS A HOME ON A LAKE, RIVER OR WHERE ENGINE CAN BE FLUSHED WITH FRESH WATER AFTER USE. THE LIFT EYES ARE ALL GOOD SO THE BOAT WILL DO WELL IN A BOAT HOUSE EQUIPPED TO LIFT IT CLEAR OF THE WATER. This Boat was restored bu us 10 years ago and was sold, unfortunately she sat outside for several years and the varnish and paint have suffered. The boat is still pretty solid. The Mercury is about 7 years old and does run. Boat is located on the upper Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake bay. Easy project for the do it yourselfer or we can professionally do it for you. Just rebuilt 283 20 minutes run time. Solid ribs and no rot. Very nice boat needs varnish work on the inside, new varnish on decks and transom. Good trailer. Owner is moving to Florida and is not taking it with him. Boat is located on the upper Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake bay.
