The local and visiting consultant was impressed with the space and seating on this vessel, all the seating was plush and comfortable as well. Can really fit the family and friends for water sports or sunset cruise on this one. This vessel shows its age. The vessel includes the newer 2010 all aluminum trailer as well. Stock #388812 2005 Chaparral 256 SSI 5.7 Volvo Penta engine with duo prop out drive. 2005 Chaparral 256 SSi powered by a Volvo Penta 5.7gxi engine and dual prop outdrive producing 320HP. This vessel has multiple seating locations, starting with the U-shaped bench in the aft section. This bench provides plenty of seating and can be used for dining with the table or converted to a cockpit sun lounge with filler cushions. This Chaparral features bow and transom boarding ladders, walk-through bow access with filler cushions, an enclosed head with pump out that is part of the portside console, and a sink. The in-cockpit ski storage area is large enough for all your skis and toys. The helm station includes all the controls, accessory switches, and fuse access. The woodgrain theme is evident at the boat's helm with a real mahogany adjustable steering wheel and matching instrument panels. The transom includes a large sun pad, ski tow hook, and swim platform, with plenty of storage. The stereo and trim can also be controlled from the swim platform. Great condition for her age, no musty smells. Carpet is in good condition. The upholstery was replaced a couple years ago by previous owner, looks great. The engine room was clean. There is a noticeable scrap on the starboard side at the swim platform on the side. The hour meter display indicates 515.3 hours. The custom wood table is gorgeous. The local and visiting consultant was impressed by the seating and space this boat offers. The some of the cushions, shown in the photos have signs of sun damage, but they are all free from rips and tears. The hull was in average condition, would shine right up with a buff and wax. The trailer looked to be in towable condition, the seller reports move the vessel often without issue Stock #303200 Excellent condition 236 Sunesta! Clean interior! Loaded and ready to fish or cruise! 2005 Chaparral 236 Sunesta Bowrider/Deck Boat powered with upgraded 5.7L MerCruiser base engine. This Chapparral is designed with the sleek style of a sport boat, the interior spaciousness, and the storage capacity of a traditional deck boat and the quality appointments of a Chaparral. The seller has had a remanufactured 5.7L long block replaced in the vessel, the seller does have records showing the conversation and replacement. The total hull and engine hours are 315, but since the long block the reports only 10 hours of use on the engine. There is plenty of seating and storage at all three levels of the boat, stern large sun lounge and seating, dual swivel cockpit chairs, and large wrap around seating in the bow area. This vessel has boarding ladders at the stern and the bow. There are freshwater rinse locations at both, the seller not aware if the pump is working, has not used that function. The seller also has a large majority of replacement canvas to the seating, will include with the purchase. There is also a large changing space with door, this space can also house a porta-potti should the new owner want to place one in this location.
